Project description:

Don’t Fear to Dier! will introduce young people to the changing cultural map of Europe and will promote intercultural dialogue as an effective way of tackling the marginalisation of certain groups of people and counteracting hate speech.

The youth exchange will be focused on building tolerance, mutual acceptance, intercultural dialogue between young people and combating hate speech, stereotyping, prejudices and stigmatisation. In the last years, the cultural map of Europe is constantly changing due to the waves of migrants and refugees. The new situation makes people more insecure and afraid of the unknown “other”.

Cultural diversity is one of the most valuable features of Europe – United in diversity and embracing our different cultures, history and languages makes us part of a vital and inclusive community. The project aims to develop young people’s soft skills as intercultural competences, cultural awareness and social interactions, to help them overcome all forms of stereotypes and prejudices, and to make them more tolerant to people with a dierent social, cultural and religious
background.
