Hello everybody! I am sending greetings from Bulgaria.
On 21st of august our czech group met in Sofia (3 participants). From there we went to a beautiful village called Srednogorovo. We were really excited about Erasmus+ programme called ECO Energi. We lived in an amazing ECO center in Srednogorovo. There were 22 people from 7 countries: Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Romania, Greece, Italy, Spain, Poland and Portugal.
During a lot of activities we got to know each other better and we cooperated easily. We had very interesting presentations about fast fashion, recycling and gardening. We were facing environmental problems and searching for solutions. We did ECO movies, land art from trash and compost. Thanks to presentations of our results we practised our English and moved our level higher.
Every day we had a coffee break from each participant’s country. We tried chorizo from Spain, cheese from Portugal, Orzo and Tzatziki from Greece, pasta from Italy, sweets from Romania and Lutenica from Bulgaria.
We visited two beautiful cities: Stara Zagora and Kazanlak. We visited the Rose museum, the historic thomb of a king and a recycling factory.
Considering it all in all, this project was just amazing. All of us had the best time in the ECO center in Srednogorovo. What is amazing is the cooperation between nations, we realized that the environmental problems are basically the same and the most important thing is the fact that every individual can do something to make the situation better. Now, when we are at home we can use the knowledge we gained and help the environment and our local community.
