Project report:

Hello everyone! I am so glad to tell you about the project, which took a place in Yerevan in Armenia. It was organised by non-governmental organization Ecolab, where you can meet kind and funny people always disposed to help you. Because there were just two from each country engaged to the project, we had met many wonderfull people from several countires such a Italy, Latvia, Germany, France, Ukraine, Russia, Armenia, Georgia, Croatia, Estonia, Turkey, Syria, Bulgaria, Romania and many others.

The project was prepared really well. We stayed in modern and clean hotel, not so far from the centre of Yerevan. It had an air-conditioning too, so we were full of energy even if there was pretty hot outside. That’s why we managed many things there! We explored a city when we were doing a social research, shared our skills by doing the workshops about sustainable living, DIY, sustainable production and economy, teaching, natural resources and energies, wasting and a lot of other fields connected to sustainable development  – also from the other participants. We spent a day with local experts too. They showed us their interesting projects.

But we didn’t work hard all the days, we had fun there! There were also many trips on the program, for example we saw the Sevan Lake, Garni Temple and Khor Virap with Mt. Ararat behind. We ate typical armenian meals and also one syrian dinner. It was a great experience to try to make their candies and to see how they made a typical bread formerly. And at the end of this article, if you want to go somewhere, I can only recommend you to prepare your stomach for the intercultural night. Because you must try every kind of the delicious food from other parts of the world! I am just kidding – just enjoy your project.
