Project report:

Hello! I´ve just returned from the amazing project in Italy called “GRIN – GReen INfluencerts”. There were five people from each county: the Czech Republic, Spain, Portugal, Greece, France and some people from Italy.  We spent time at farm Masseria La Fiorita from 12th to 20th April.

The topic of this project was about the environment, ecology, and sustainability. Each national team prepared a workshop about one of these topics: Water, Soil/Earth, Air, Sustainable food, Social Media and Activism. We prepared a presentation that we presented to others participants and ended the workshop with a discussion or game. So we learnt listening to the opinions of others, tried presenting in from of people in the English language, cooperating in the team and much more.

There were also workshops about upcycling clothes or making banners for the flashmob.

Except for our time on the farm, we also had a trip to the historic town of Matera. We had the opportunity to hear interesting information from a local guide about the nature and history of the town.

Every evening was an intercultural night where each country cooked the typical vegetarian/vegan food. We decided to do “bramboračka” and “mozeček”, so we also improved our cooking skills by serving for 30 people. After dinner were danced national dances so we had a lot of fun 😀

I would summarize the project as one big opportunity for that I am truly grateful – meeting new people with similar mindsets, getting to know other cultures, learning about the environment, and making international friendships. And that all only in one week. I believe that with some of the members, we have not seen each other the last time and that we will certainly see again. Thank you again for letting me be part of this great project.
