Project report:

We stayed in a beautiful small village called Bédeille. We slept in tents and in a tepee. We cooked in an outer kitchen, we used solar showers and dry toilets. Living this alternative lifestyle was a really good experience for us.
During the project we were discussing the recent global problems with each other. It was interesting to hear about other people’s ideas.
We learnt a lot and we also worked a lot. We built a wood oven, a solar dryer, we planted tomatoes, herbs (thyme, basil), we baked our own bread, we also made apricot and nectarine jam.
In our free time we visited a local market where we could buy local food (e.g. cheese, bread, vegetables and fruit, meat), we went to mountains to see a big waterfall and we were lucky to attend a festival which is held every year around June time.
We REALLY liked the project and we enjoyed meeting new people, seeing new places and learning new things about an alternative lifestyle.
Big thanks to SOLARFRIKA!
