Hello everyone! I am happy to tell you about an amazing youth exchange. The adventure was located in smaller town Crikvenica, which is near by famous island named Krk. Our way there was smooth and fast as we could sleep on the train during the journey. So welcome to Croatia!
It was my pleasure to take a part in a project called „Movement for change“. The project started on the 20th August and ended on the 29th August. There were 6 people from each country: hosting country Croatia, the Czech Republiv, Spain, England and Hungary.
Thanks to the perfect preparation and organization we were able to create a wonderful community. During a lot of activities we got to know each other better and better and thanks to many group works, we were able to cooperate quite easily. We were talking about mowement, doing a lot of activites, playing games outside, dancing and teaching capoeira. Through different workshops (every country prepared something) we were gaining new knowledge about different ways of activism that involve human movement.
The main goal of the whole project was to create final performance. So all participants had to cooperate and work on the performance, which was shown at the square in Crikvenica.
I can’t forget how we learned new things about national traditions of other countries or we saw traditional dances or we tasted special national drinks and food. Beautiful clear water, good weather plus relatively still warm water helped us a lot. Some evenings we were just singing and dancing at the beach.
To summarize, I believe most of the project’s participants have taken home only good memories they will gladly recall in the future.
Thanks a lot to every single person for allowing this project to happen!
