Project report:

Hi! Welcome to Bulgaria! I want to tell you about a recent Erasmus+ training course called “Pro Facilitators” in Bansko, Bulgaria, which happened from December 11th to 20th, 2023.

Our group had people from seven countries: the Czech Republic, Poland, Macedonia, Greece, Italy, Spain, and Turkey. In total, we were 40 people. During cultural nights, we learned about each country’s culture, making our group stronger and helping us understand each other better.

The main thing we focused on during the project was becoming better facilitators. We talked about what a good facilitator should do, how to manage time well, and how to handle conflicts and the group’s mood. With help from experienced teachers and interactive classes, we got useful tools and ideas that will help us when we’re facilitating.

Bansko, the town where the course happened, is really charming with its local culture. We explored different things about facilitation and shared our own experiences. During the project, we had some challenges, like managing time well and dealing with different personalities. But these challenges helped us learn and get better.

Our main goal was to learn basic facilitator skills for projects with young people. We definitely achieved this goal and learned a lot from experienced people. The course gave us tools and knowledge we need for good facilitation, and the experienced teachers shared useful ideas that made our understanding even better.

In the end, the Erasmus+ course did more than we expected. It gave us a great learning experience and made us work together in a friendly way. We’re excited to use these new skills in our future projects with young people.
