PERACH Partnership building activity — Israel

Project report:

Project was organized by Israeli organization PERACH. This organization provides mentoring for child from elementary school and from high school. Mentors are university students, who can get some advantages from their school. This organization is in Israel very known, this year take care about 22 thousand menties, same count mentors and lot of coordinators often also university students. 

Project took place at Weizmann Institute, which is important Israeli science center in Rehovot city, approximately one hour by car from Tel Aviv. Project was organized like Training course focused on learning principles PERACH programs and mentoring. Second important point of project was partnership building activity between organizations, there were delegate from Italy, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Slovakia, France, Romania and our EYCB. In our free time we discussed about our experiences, exchange some tips from program Youth in Action and also learn about another kind of programs like Grundvig, EuroMED or Comenius.

For understanding the function of local offices PERACH we visited universities in Tel Aviv, university, science center for youth and free time center in Beer Sheva in Negev region and Hebrew University in Jerusalem. We had also possibilities known Jerusalem and Tel Aviv in our free time, when local people were great guide for us.
