Project report:

Hi all! Our Czech team participated in youth work in France on 7th October. It was my pleasure to meet Barbora and Martin. We were really excited about the project Youth Work on Migration and we couldn’t wait to start. In Strasbourg we met all the people from different countries and had a lot of fun right from the start.

This project was different from the previous project I participated in in August. Unlike the youth exchange, the training course is more focused on the issue of the topic, which we learned informally every day. However, this did not apply to the first day, which belonged to games to get to know others and was not focused on migration at all. In the first half of the week, we then shared with others our experience with migration, explaining what it is like in our country and what could be improved. In the last few days, we learned how to do projects on our own, so we were divided into groups and spent the whole day preparing a program for others. In addition to developing a lot of skills, we had a lot of fun in the group! We could spend our free time sports, as the building also included a tennis court and a table tennis table, the interior of the building included also a swimming pool and billiards. As part of project there was of course intercultural night, where we introduced various drinks and food to other nations.

To sum it up, it was a week full of great new experiences, we met new amazing people and nations, got and improved new skills and had a lot of fun.
