Project report:

Sweden; tough, cold, beautiful, developed, expensive and multicultural socialist country hosted me and my four other Czech friends from the 27th August until the 2nd September. This Youth Exchange called Social Entrepreneurship & Sustainable Development contained thirty people from six countries: Sweden, Lithuania, Czech Republic, Romania, Greece and Turkey.

The begining of the project was a bit chaotic and unprepared by the organizer, but since we saw the peaceful nature of the venue called „Lida“ including big lake, wild rabbits and fresh air, it calmed us down. We started to get to know each other and found out that most of the participants were interesting and friendly young people and we had much fun together later.

The project topic was focused on social and solidarity enterpreneurship. The trainer Andrea from Romania was experienced and pleasant person. She knew how to present new ideas and motivate us to get involved in different activities and games. We learned about enterpreneurship, Erasmus+ or social business. I liked the part where we could set up a new business in teams and present our ideas. One afternoon we visited an inovative local enterpreneur, who run a hub for freelance artists and support local comunity gardening. It was really interesting experience.

Last day, we had chance to explore beautiful capital – Stockholm. Modern city with scandinavian architecture and multicultural inhabitants. We really enjoyed walking the whole center and harbor with our new friends from EU. The only minus of the city were high prices of food and souvenirs.

In conclusion, despite the fact that organisation of the project and food wasn´t good, we experienced much fun and enriching activities with the participants and trainer, that we will never forget this time of our life in beautiful Sweden.
