Project report:

With our organization Prostor pro Rozvoj we had the exceptional opportunity to participate in a networking meeting organized by the Youth Center Banneux in Belgium from 15.1  to 19.1.2024. This entire experience not only enriched my professional knowledge but also brought new and valuable friendships.

The journey to Tilff in Belgium, where the meeting took place, was filled with anticipation and excitement. Despite unforeseen complications with travel and train delays, I eventually arrived at the location and was captivated by the beauty of the surroundings where the meeting unfolded. Auberge Jeunesse Tilff, a picturesque town with a breathtaking view, became my home, and every morning I enjoyed walks after breakfast.

Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed by members of the organizational team and fellow participants. The atmosphere was filled with joy and anticipation. During the introductory presentations, I had the opportunity to introduce our organization and share my experiences in working with young people. The first day was dedicated to mutual acquaintances and the search for potential partners for future projects.

Inspiring lectures and activities from the International Youth Bureau (BIJ) followed, resembling the opening of new doors. I gained a deeper insight into global youth initiatives and understood how we can contribute to international collaboration. Group work in pairs and larger groups then engaged us in intensive preparation for future youth exchanges. This phase of the seminar was about genuine bonding, sharing ideas, and collective efforts to achieve our goals.

The entire seminar was crowned with success as we achieved the main objective – creating a network of reliable partners and laying the groundwork for future international youth exchanges. I am immensely grateful for this opportunity and for all the potential project partnerships I have gained.

I extend my thanks to the Youth Center Banneux and all participants for an unforgettable journey of learning, sharing, and collaboration. I also express gratitude to the EYCB center from Břeclav for excellent organization and to Janča for her amazing support.

I look forward to future exchanges and new adventures in the field of youth work.
