Pro to, abyste na tento projekt mohli jet je nutné, abyste vlastnili nejen občanský průkaz (který musíte mít ze zákona), ale také platný cestovní pas (s platností min. ještě 150 dní od datumu začátku vámi vybraného projektu).
V rámci programu Evropský sbor solidarity jsou následující finanční specifika: v rámci všech projektů ESC je kompletně (ze 100 %) zajištěno jídlo, ubytování, aktivity, povinné doplňkové pojištění u pojišťovny Henner, jazykový kurz, místní doprava, a to vše je zcela pokryto z fondů EU programu Evropský sbor solidarity a zařízeno organizátory. Účastníkům dále budou proplaceny cestovní náklady (v případě tohoto projektu) ve výši max. €309 z místa bydliště do místa konání projektu a zpět.
Účastník musí:
- Být ve věku 18-30 let;
- Být zaregistrovaný na portálu ESC (v případě, že máte s registrací problém, řiďte se tímto návodem)
- Mít zájem o dobrovolnictví a tento projekt;
- Ovládat angličtinu alespoň na úrovni B1

Popis ESC dobrovolnických pozic:
1. „A New Hope: Volunteering in Caritas‘ Social Centre“
Volunteering period: 8months starting ASAP (Sant’Agata di Militello, Sicily – Italy). Vacancies: 2 volunteers.
Description
IMPORTANT: to apply to this project you MUST use the form available at www.informa-giovani.net/esc-caritas The activities of Caritas Diocesana di Patti are carried out in order to achieve the organisation’s objectives, which are to promote volunteering and to support people with fewer opportunities. Volunteers will be involved in solidarity activities (such as food distribution, clothing distribution and the organisation of solidarity events), in orientation and support activities for young people and in the management of a meeting place. Volunteers can make it possible to provide direct and continuous support for the activities, while at the same time promoting a culture of active participation and solidarity.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
The host house is located in the centre of Sant’Agata di Militello. Volunteers will sleep in a double room shared by both sexes. Toilets and showers are also shared by gender and free Wi-Fi is available. At certain times of the year, volunteers may have the opportunity to share the common areas of the house with small groups of international volunteers who support the centre in its activities. Individual support: monthly allowance (Euro 6,00 per day) Meals: Monthly allowance (Euro 150,00 per month) Travel costs: Based on the ESC guide according to the Erasmus+ distance calculator.
Training during the activity
On arrival training and Mid-Term Evaluation organized by Italian National Agency (online training) + Online Linguistic Support (Italian language).
Participant profile
We are looking for volunteers aged between 20-30 years old with previous experiences in participating in workcamps, volunteering activities in country and abroad, with a strong interest in the youth sector, in promoting youth participation, volunteering and social inclusion, interested and motivated to use non formal education methods. Skills in communication to young people and working in a team. Previous international volunteering experience and driving licence is welcome.
2. ‚Promoting Volunteering and Youth Participation‘,
InformaGiovani ETS is looking for applications for a volunteer project of the European Solidarity Corps ‚Promoting Volunteering and Youth Participation‘, which will be held in Palermo, Italy, from April to October 2026. The project code is: 2024-2-IT03-ESC51-VTJ-000268869.
The volunteer will participate in activities related to youth information, the promotion of volunteering, and European mobility opportunities, helping with volunteer camps and youth exchanges during the summer, contributing to the organization of national and international youth projects, and assisting with communication and administrative activities. They will also participate in information sessions at the University of Palermo and in schools as Eurodesk representatives, while also pursuing a personal project during their mobility.
The project is open to young people between the ages of 21 and 30 with previous experience of work camps and volunteer work at home and abroad, a strong interest in youth work, learning about NGO life inside and outside the office, promoting youth participation, volunteering, and social inclusion, and an interest and motivation in using non-formal education methods. Good skills in using office management software, including Excel, Word, and Adobe platforms, are welcome.
The accommodation is shared with other international volunteers. It consists of three double rooms, a shared living room, kitchen, and two shared bathrooms. It is located near the city center, well-connected to public transportation. Individual support: monthly allowance in cash (€6,00 per day). Food: monthly allowance in cash (€150,00 per month).
