ERASMUS+, Klíčová akce 1: tréninkový kurz

Pro to, abyste se na tento projekt přihlásili je nutné, abyste vlastnili nejen občanský průkaz (který musíte mít ze zákona), ale také platný cestovní pas (s platností min. ještě 150 dní od datumu začátku vámi vybraného projektu).
V rámci programu ERASMUS+ jsou následující finanční specifika: v rámci všech projektů je kompletně (ze 100%) zajištěno jídlo, ubytování, aktivity, a to vše je zcela pokryto z fondů EU programu ERASMUS+ a zařízeno organizátory. Účastníkům dále budou proplaceny cestovní náklady (reimbursement) z místa bydliště do místa konání projektu a zpět a to dle způsobu dopravy:
- €309 v případě letecké dopravy
- €417 v případě pozemní „zelené“ dopravy. Prosím berte na vědomí, že u tohoto projektu je silně preferována pozemní doprava.

Popis projektu:
The main objective: to assist youth workers to develop a light and impactful attitude in working with youngsters with fewer opportunities.

The philosophy behind this training course:
Working with youngsters today has shown us that the normal doesn’t work anymore. You might have noticed – the European youth field is looking for new, more creative approaches and we are joining in this research. What we have found is that LIGHTNESS works, and it can be truly powerful. The youth has a lot of energy, the question is: where is it guided and how to express it in a healthy way. In The July Training we will explore ways of expression through creativity, emotions and authentic human contact.
The hosting organisation: Radi Vidi Pats (Create the Environment Yourself) is a 19 year old association, based in Liepaja, Latvia, working all over Europe. Our aim is to support the creation of a more sustainable, inclusive and participatory society with the resources we are given.
Why do we do this: Since the beginning of our NGO we have always attracted young people who are different: outsides, youngsters that don’t find their place in education or labor market. For the past 5 years we volunteer in local prison. The normal doesn’t work anymore. With the help of our Erasmus+ accreditation we are on a constant research of what does work. In this training we want to continue exploration and share some of our findings.
The trainers: Lina Ulane and Marco Marinelli:
When Linda and Marco met in Training of Trainers, organized by Salto Training and Cooperation, they found some peculiar coincidences: they’re both clowns, both have experience in prisons, and both find passion in offering funky learning experiences. And so a journey begun.
Linda:
Hey! I am an educator and youth worker. Big part of my educator’s identity was created in a NGO called Radi Vidi Pats. I also work as an non-formal education trainer for Latvian National Agency. Mostly I cover topics of support systems for youngsters and youth workers and the importance of creativity. Besides this, I also work with burnout, environmental awareness and climate action topics, because without that – what’s the point of anything else. I also am a healthcare clown, writer and volunteer youth worker in Liepaja prison where I offer biblioguidance workshops. I love my work and it gives me hope.
Marco:
Hey there! I’m Marco from Italy, moved to the north from the south. I’m a circus pedagogue, youth worker, and activist, part of the organisation Arterego, based near Bologna. Being a performer gave me inspiration to look at the reality with different eyes and through the years I developed an expertise in the topics of social inclusion and diversity, feminism, and critical pedagogy, all practices and methodologies that gives me motivation to continue the work as trainer and facilitator, making me believe that change is possible thanks to the values of solidarity and cooperation.
PARTICIPANTS‘ PROFILE:
We are looking for people who already work with youth on any level: youth workers, teachers, social workers, mentors and other support persons, municipality workers of youth departments. We are also open to 18+ activists that work with other groups of youngsters etc. These people should be ready for more alternative approaches, quite wild living settings, spending a lot of time outdoors and fully participate in 5 day training.

Please keep in mind that this plan might shift a bit. There will be a smaller breaks during the sessions. In general we try to keep the evenings free, but if the group has energy and wish we have offerings. And if you want to offer something, write it in the application form! We invite you not to bring with you any other work , as much as it is possible.
Be aware
This is an intensive training, with a experiential approach, in which we expect your full participation, engagement and presence.
We don’t have alcohol probition or other strict rules, but we invite for the principle – lion in the night, lion in the day – for the whole duration of the program. We strongly believe in the resources of the group, therefore we ask you not to rob the group by not offering your full energy. The programme will be rather intense, therefore your whole mental and physical capacities will be required.
