Účastníkům dále budou proplaceny cestovní náklady (reimbursement) z místa bydliště do místa konání projektu a to dle způsobu dopravy:

Popis projektu:
SHIFT is an immersive, experience-based training for youth workers and trainers.
Do you work with people and want to grow as a trainer or facilitator?
Do you believe learning starts from connection and being present?
Are you curious about turning unexpected moments into learning opportunities?
SHIFT was born from one of the biggest challenges youth workers face today.
From our perspective, this challenge is recognizing and turning everyday, unpredictable moments into meaningful learning opportunities. Many professionals, especially those with a strong formal education background or less hands-on mentoring experience, feel unsure when the script changes, time is short, or the group dynamic requires an immediate and flexible response.
One common example → even though youth workers often know in theory that the learning process belongs to the group and not to them as trainers, when unexpected situations arise, they may try to save the moment themselves or freeze. Instead, they could adapt, stay present, and still give the group the chance to take responsibility for their own process, while supporting them from the outside.
This becomes even more relevant today, as the realities of youth work are constantly changing: groups are often different from what is expected, circumstances can change at the last minute, and preparation time is limited. In these situations, youth workers can quickly feel overwhelmed and fall back on pre-prepared scripts, missing valuable opportunities for learning and connection. Often, the instinct is to stick to the plan, even though much more learning could emerge by working with what is happening in the moment.
Does this sound familiar?
It is clear that the core aim of SHIFT is not to deliver “better” workshops, but to strengthen your ability to recognize learning as it happens. The focus is on tools and approaches that help you identify learning in simple situations, adapt activities to the real needs of young people, and make meaningful interventions when it matters most. Instead of delivering pre-prepared activities that participants simply “go through,” you will learn how to stay present, work from connection, and guide individual and group processes. This allows you to focus more on people than on programs, creating impact one person at a time.
SHIFT is an immersive, experience-based training for youth workers and trainers.
You will be part of a group of youth workers, giving yourself the space to explore, challenge, and improve your skills. You will be actively involved and challenged throughout the process. The training offers practical insights, tools, and experiences related to youth coaching and mentoring in real situations.
We will explore questions such as:
- What does it mean to guide with intention?
- How can facilitation stay purposeful without being rigid?
- How do we create spaces where others can grow?
- How can we do more with fewer resources?
We will work with a clear methodological approach called developmental facilitation. It combines elements of youth coaching and mentoring in action. When integrated into your own facilitation style and combined with non-formal education, it supports both personal growth and professional impact. The strength of shift lies in learning together with peers. Everyone in the group faces similar challenges in their work, while bringing different experiences and coping strategies. This creates a rich learning environment.
This approach supports you in staying flexible and choosing appropriate interventions in the moment.
You will work on two levels:
- personal: you will participate, practice, and reflect on your own development as a trainer, while taking part in a high-quality learning experience.
- proffesional: you will test and apply new tools, methods, and approaches, shaping them into your own practice.
At ImpACT, we strongly believe that personal and professional development go hand in hand. The longterm value of this training should be visible in how you work with people and groups afterwards.
