Program, akce: Evropský sbor solidarity (ESC) — dlouhodobé dobrovolnictví (10-12 měsíců)

Pro to, abyste na tento projekt mohli jet je nutné, abyste vlastnili nejen občanský průkaz (který musíte mít ze zákona), ale také platný cestovní pas (s platností min. ještě 150 dní od datumu začátku vámi vybraného projektu).

V rámci programu Evropský sbor solidarity jsou následující finanční specifika: v rámci všech projektů ESC je kompletně (ze 100 %) zajištěno jídlo, ubytování, aktivity, povinné doplňkové pojištění u pojišťovny Henner, jazykový kurz, místní doprava, a to vše je zcela pokryto z fondů EU programu Evropský sbor solidarity a zařízeno organizátory. Účastníkům dále budou proplaceny cestovní náklady (v případě tohoto projektu) ve výši max. €275 z místa bydliště do místa konání projektu a zpět.

Účastník musí:

  • Být ve věku 18-30 let;
  • Být zaregistrovaný na portálu ESC (v případě, že máte s registrací problém, řiďte se tímto návodem)
  • Mít zájem o dobrovolnictví a tento projekt;
  • Ovládat angličtinu alespoň na úrovni B1

Long-term volunteering from August 2024-August 2025

Let’s Do It World (LDIW) is a global organisation and movement that tackles the environmental challenges related to the ​mismanaged solid waste crisis by mobilising millions of positive-minded people into coordinated local and global actions and ​moving towards a clean and waste-free planet. LDIW aims to achieve the dream of a clean world by mobilising 5% of the ​world’s population for cleanup actions.

LDIW’s main objectives include coordinating and supporting the environmental actions of its global movement, inspiring and ​empowering leaders to raise awareness and move countries towards more sustainable solutions. LDIW’s network has ​established local teams in over 150 countries and rising.

LDIW’s flagship project is ‘World Cleanup Day’ (WCD), which takes place on 20 September annually, uniting millions of ​people from almost every country worldwide for the biggest waste collection day in human history. In 2024, it was added ​to the UN’s official calendar of International Days and Weeks. Since 2018, WCD has engaged almost 91 million people, from ​211 countries and territories, removing 543,000 tons of mismanaged waste in global actions focused on cleaning up their ​countries.

The model consists of usage of technology, extensive communication and marketing actions, community-based activism and ​large cooperation between various NGOs, businesses, government institutions, etc. The main tasks of its HQ are to support ​and empower leaders in countries, promote cleanup actions, and inspire people around the world, plus support and share ​know-how via the international network to help more countries become clean.

Long-term volunteering from August/September 2024 till 30th June 2025

Lauliku Kindergarten is located in the capital of Estonia – Tallinn, in Nõmme district in a quiet area under

pine trees. Our mission is to provide versatile and high-quality early childhood education for children aged 2-7.

We consider it important that the children in our kindergarten are happy and that every child’s development is ​supported in the best possible way.

Outdoor learning, robotics and musical instruments are some of the tools used in our kindergarten educational ​program. Children also take part in various nature and cooperation projects. Our kindergarten uses bullying ​prevention programs and pays great attention to healthy lifestyles. The core values of our kindergarten are caring, ​trust, flexibility and cooperation.

Profile of the volunteer:

  • Dependable person- you do what you say you will, when you say you will.
  • Childfriendly- you are surrounded by approx. 20-25 children every day.
  • Playful- you like to have fun and have no problem interacting with children.
  • Team- player – teaching children is a collaborative effort.

 

LEARNING MENTOR

Up to 12 months long-term volunteering starting from September 2024

Tallinna Linnupesa Lasteaed is located in the capital city of Estonia, Tallinn. We are in green and quiet area ​close to the city center. It is a public kindergarten for children aged 1,5 to 7 years. We offer pre-primary ​education to 250 children.

The name Linnupesa translates to “birdnest” and that’s also what is their most precious value:An amazing ​nest for everyone – playful, warm, and cozy.

We value a child centered approach and believe young children should learn through playing hands-on ​activities. We include technology and science into our learning activities. At the same time we prioritize ​environmental education, staying connected to nature and being kind to our surroundings, home and planet.

Our organisation has hosted ESC voluteers since 2018, we have had 10 volunteers! We are very happy to keep ​going and offer a valuable experience to young volunteers all over Europe!

Profile of the volunteer:

We welcome volunteers who are open-minded and love working with kids. No prior experience is ​necessary; what matters most is that you are a calm and creative person.

We’re hoping you like trying new things and are not afraid of multimedia and robotics.

You have extra value to share with us and the kids. And most importantly, you have shiny eyes and a singing ​heart – a little child inside, wanting to come out.

Community Organizer

10-12 months volunteering starting from August/September 2024

Maarja Küla is a community in South Estonia, where adults with intellectual disability live. In Maarja Küla ​all residents are like a big family, and they are living together with village workers, who support them in ​their everyday life activities. Maarja Küla residents live a meaningful every day and work life here. They ​can participate in clay, wood, carpet, art or gardening workshops. They have opportunity to participate ​in rehabilitation, different group and leisure activities, different events, hikes.

Since 2004, Maarja Village has welcomed over 100 dedicated volunteers from 15+ countries, creating a ​positive impact and sharing their culture with the locals.

We welcome all volunteers, regardless of their background, to enrich Maarja Village and empower ​young individuals. No prior experience is necessary; what matters most is an interest in our way of life.

We want you to improve your skills and competences to ensure better possibilities in the labor market and ​enhancing your personal skills to become a more tolerant and exemplary citizen of the world.
