Program, akce: Evropský sbor solidarity (ESC) — dlouhodobé individuální dobrovolnictví (11 měsíců)

Prosim pošlete svůj životopis a motivační dopis (obojí v angličtině) v jednom emailu na tyto dvě emailové adresy: [email protected] a [email protected]. Pro to, abyste na tento projekt mohli jet je nutné, abyste vlastnili nejen občanský průkaz (který musíte mít ze zákona), ale také platný cestovní pas (s platností min. ještě 150 dní od datumu začátku vámi vybraného projektu).
V rámci programu Evropský sbor solidarity jsou následující finanční specifika: v rámci všech projektů ESC je kompletně (ze 100 %) zajištěno jídlo, ubytování, aktivity, komplexní zdravotní pojištění u pojišťovny Henner, jazykový kurz, místní doprava, a to vše je zcela pokryto z fondů EU programu Evropský sbor solidarity a zařízeno organizátory. Účastníkům dále budou proplaceny cestovní náklady (v případě tohoto projektu) ve výši max. €580 z místa bydliště do místa konání projektu a zpět.
Účastník musí:
- Být ve věku 18-30 let;
- Být zaregistrovaný na portálu ESC (v případě, že máte s registrací problém, řiďte se tímto návodem)
- Mít zájem o dobrovolnictví a tento projekt;
- Ovládat angličtinu alespoň na úrovni B1

Who is LPA Juventud:
You will be volunteering in LPA Juventud is Las Palmas de Gran Canaria’ Town Hall Youth Department, which is in charge of providing local youth with the resources for their personal growth and welfare. The Department is also responsible of building youth policies and creating a space where youth can be heard and supported, develop their ideas and creativity, and be guided towards a healthy lifestyle.
The Youth Council of the Town Hall of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (Spain) will host 2 volunteers for 11 months within the framework of the European Solidarity Corps program. The main activities will be carrid out in the Town Hall of Las Palmas (Youth Center) and will consist of office work, outdoor activities, creating contact within volunteers and the local community. Please, read the info pack in order to have a clear idea about the project.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
Volunteers will have a private room in a share a flat with other youngsters in the city of Las Palmas, Gran Canaria. All costs (travel, food, local transport, health insurance) will be covered by the organization under the European Solidarity Corps framework. Only the wifi could be at the volunteer’s expense when not included in the rental. Every month you will receive 380€.
Training during the activity
You will get a pre-departure training from your sending organization and then a training upon your arrival by Mojo and your host organization. You will also have to attend 2 compulsory training (On Arrival Training and Midterm Evaluation) by the local National Agency. Every month you will have an individual evaluation with Mojo de Caña.

- Creative and open-minded
- People who like to be in touch with the nature and like to live in rural areas.
- A basic level of Spanish so they can begin to help with basic tasks
- Passionate about culture (Spanish) and youth and eager to discover new cultures and experiences
- Interested in working in youth projects and be part of a local public service of youth.
What will be your tasks:
- Help managing LPA’s social media (facebook and instagram) and website
- Contact with local youth and youth entities
- Help promoting youth policies to locals and local entities
- Organization of festivals, events, shows, healthy leisure and free time activities
- Promotion of ESC and Erasmus+ (online and through talks)
- Active participation in the island life

Practical arrangements:
- You will have a private room in a shared flat in the city of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
- Every month you will receive 380€, which includes pocket + food + island public transportation card
- Every week you will work 5 days + 2 days off (depending on the week they could be midweek or the weekend) for a total amount of about 32 hours per week.
- Each month you will collect 2,5 days of holiday that you can get to spend whenever you wish, after consulting with your coordinator, in total 27 days ( counting Saturdays and Sundays) Travel costs (to/from) Spain will be refunded to the maximum amount according to official Erasmus distance calculator (580 EUR for Czech volunteers)
