Program, akce: Evropský sbor solidarity (ESC) — dobrovolnické týmy (čtyři týdny)

Pro to, abyste na tento projekt mohli jet je nutné, abyste vlastnili nejen občanský průkaz (který musíte mít ze zákona), ale také platný cestovní pas (s platností min. ještě 150 dní od datumu začátku vámi vybraného projektu).
V rámci programu Evropský sbor solidarity jsou následující finanční specifika: v rámci všech projektů ESC je kompletně (ze 100 %) zajištěno jídlo, ubytování, aktivity, povinné doplňkové pojištění u pojišťovny Henner, jazykový kurz, místní doprava, a to vše je zcela pokryto z fondů EU programu Evropský sbor solidarity a zařízeno organizátory. Účastníkům dále budou proplaceny cestovní náklady (v případě tohoto projektu) ve výši max. €309 z místa bydliště do místa konání projektu a zpět.
Účastník musí:
- Být ve věku 18-30 let;
- Být zaregistrovaný na portálu ESC (v případě, že máte s registrací problém, řiďte se tímto návodem)
- Mít zájem o dobrovolnictví a tento projekt;
- Ovládat angličtinu alespoň na úrovni B1

Ready to experience something truly unique in the heart of Bulgaria ?
Join us at Synergy House. You won’t just volunteer – you’ll live, learn and create alongside people from different countries and cultures. Discover permaculture, work with your hands, launch your own initiatives, and become part of a community committed to creating positive change.
What you’ll do:
💪 Hands-on work – transforming a summer house into an educational learning center for youth projects and exchanges through permaculture principles.
🏠 Community living & personal mark – co-create your community, launch your own initiative, run workshops, DIY projects.
🤝 Connecting with locals – weekly activities with the Dzhurovo community and join initiatives with local residents.
We’re looking for:
– 15 participants aged 18-30
– People ready to live in a rural environment for 4 weeks
– Proactive individuals eager to create opportunities
– Participants with a personal project or learning goal
– Volunteers with media skills (photo, video, SMM)
– Priority will be given to participants with fewer opportunities

About GAIA:
Gaia brings together young people from Europe, Ukraine, and beyond to support a local Roma community and promote sustainable living, while creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for everyone.
The project focuses on three main topics: environmental education, social inclusion, and youth development. This year, Gaia will take place in Bulgaria, where participants will explore sustainable living and develop community projects for local youth, including the Roma community of Dzhurovo. Here, you can develop skills, connect to others, and see the direct impact of your actions on the community.

1. Hands-on work:
Here, you can learn and truly make a difference. Together, we are transforming Synergy House into a learning hub – a place where volunteering projects, youth exchanges, and community activities come to life.
You will have a chance to try out and cultivate sustainable practices in our Volunteering & Retreat Center. You will also participate in workshops on permaculture, brainstorm local actions for climate change, support local eco-friendly initiatives, and events.
2. Community living & personal mark
A big part & beauty of this volunteering – living together with people from all over Europe and building your own community: create rules, design activities, make agreements, shop & cook together, and of course – have fun.
Everyone is encouraged to leave their personal mark. You can develop your own initiative, a DIY project, a workshop from meditation or cooking to yoga, a digital diary or even a documentary…It’s literally up to you, and you’re the creator of your own & team volunteering experience! Here, sky is the limit.
3. Connecting with locals
You will design and implement inclusive activities with local Roma youth and children in the village of Dzhurovo. Here, educational initiatives and eco-friendly experiences bring everyone together. Everyone, regardless of background or ability, can contribute, share skills, and learn from each other.
Through games, workshops, creative projects, and sports, you’ll help build bridges across communities, fostering collaboration, empathy, and mutual respect. Participate in nature-based meditation sessions, silent hiking excursions, communal gardening, eco-building workshops, creation or enhancement of hiking trails, and support local eco actions among others.
Volunteer’s profile:
- 18-30 years old (not older than 31 at the start of the program).
- Enthusiastic about hands-on activities.
- Interested in eco-friendly practices, permaculture, sustainability etc.
- Ready to live in a rural environment with basic conditions for 4 weeks,
- Ready to align with people from different cultures and create a joyful community.
- People with the idea of a personal project/initiative/learning goal.
- Priority will be given to participants with fewer opportunities.
Financials:
POCKET MONEY: You will receive €7/day for your living money.
FOOD MONEY: You will receive a weekly food budget for the group to shop & cook together.
REIMBURSEMENT: Your travel costs will be reimbursed according to the distance between your home town and Sofia.
YOUTHPASS: You ’ll receive a YouthPass certificate after the project, where your personal learning will be documented.
