V rámci programu ERASMUS+ jsou následující finanční specifika: v rámci všech projektů je kompletně (ze 100%) zajištěno jídlo, ubytování, aktivity, a to vše je zcela pokryto z fondů EU programu ERASMUS+ a zařízeno organizátory. Účastníkům dále budou proplaceny cestovní náklady (reimbursement) z místa bydliště do místa konání projektu, pro české účastníky max. do limitu €285/účastník.

Prosím berte na vědomí, že pro český tým je možná jen a pouze pozemní doprava (= pouze autobusy/vlaky).

WearWise: Empowering Youth Workers for Sustainable Fashion Action

Themes of the Training Course:

The WearWise training course is designed to equip youth workers, educators, and community leaders with the knowledge, skills, and tools needed to address the challenges of fast fashion and textile waste through youth work and non-formal education.

The project focuses on sustainable fashion, circular economy principles, ethical consumption, and environmental responsibility. Participants will explore innovative approaches to raising awareness among young people and developing educational activities that encourage more conscious and sustainable fashion choices.

Aligned with the European Union’s Green Deal and Circular Economy Action Plan, WearWise supports youth workers in becoming multipliers of sustainable practices within their local communities. Through intercultural exchange, peer learning, and practical workshops, participants will gain the competences necessary to design impactful sustainability initiatives and empower young people to become active contributors to a fairer and more sustainable textile industry.

Learning Objectives:

By the end of the training course, participants will:

  • Deepen their understanding of the environmental, social, and economic impacts of fast fashion and textile waste.
  • Explore the principles of sustainable fashion, ethical production, circular economy, and responsible consumption.
  • Develop educational methods and non-formal learning activities related to sustainable fashion and environmental awareness.
  • Strengthen their competences in facilitating workshops, campaigns, and awareness-raising initiatives for young people.
  • Gain practical experience with upcycling, clothing repair, clothes-swapping concepts, and circular wardrobe approaches.
  • Exchange good practices and innovative tools among youth workers from different countries.
  • Enhance their project development and community engagement skills to implement local sustainability initiatives.
  • Build international partnerships and networks for future Erasmus+ cooperation in the field of sustainability and environmental education.

Learning Approach:

The training course follows the principles of non-formal education and experiential learning. The program will include:

  • 🌱 Interactive learning activities, team-building exercises, and intercultural exchange
  • 🧵 Workshops on sustainable fashion, circular economy, environmental education, and youth participation
  • Practical sessions on upcycling, textile reuse, repair techniques, and creative sustainability practices
  • 🌍 Study visits to local sustainable businesses, social enterprises, and environmental initiatives
  • 💡 Exchange of best practices and development of educational tools for youth work
  • Reflection and Youthpass sessions to support participants‘ personal and professional learning processes
  • 📢 Project and campaign development activities, enabling participants to design sustainability-focused initiatives for implementation in their local communities

The training course will be facilitated by an experienced team, creating a supportive, inclusive, and inspiring environment for learning, collaboration, and professional development.

Who can participate in the training course/participants‘ profile:

  • Young people aged 18+ years old
  • Interested in sustainability, slow fashion and textile waste.
  • Ready to participate throughout the entire mobility.
  • Able to communicate in English. Eligible countries: Slovakia, Czechia, Hungary, Romania, Spain and Turkey
