Popis projektu:
Everyone can draw!
SPEND 7 DAYS IN AN INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY EXPLORING THE WONDERS OF VISUAL EXPRESSION.
Our youth exchange will bring together 36 people from 6 countries to explore how we can think more visually, express ourselves through visual arts and how we can use visuals to create connections.
We believe that everybody can draw, and that being able to express ourselves in different channels (besides verbal) is vital for authentic connections and shaping communities of young people. We want to empower our participants to dare to experiment and express themselves more freely.
Colors of the Wind is a 7-day-long youth exchange exploring how we can think more visually, express ourselves
through the visual arts and how we can use visuals to create connections.
The youth exchange will have the following build-up:
- SKILLS DEVELOPMENT. In the first 3 days, through guided experiential learning, participants will gain knowledge about the topics, practice to hone their skills and reflect on the effects of the methods on their own learning process.
- SUBMERGING. Day 4 and 5 will be dedicated to putting the gained skills into real-life practice by co-creating, interacting with local communities and creating tangible action plans to disseminate the results and to bring them back to their everyday work context.
- CLOSING. The last day of the youth exchange will be dedicated to closing the experience and the learning process of individuals.
What to expect:
- connecting with your inner visual thinker and visual doer
- practicing drawing, painting, and creating with your hands
- becoming more creative and authentic
- allowing yourself to make mistakes, letting go of judgements
- discovering how you can use visuals to connect with others and serve communities
- having a lot of fun and learning without even noticing
Who are we looking for?

The team behind this project
The project will be submitted by MOSTart NKKE, a Hungarian NGO. The abbreviation of MOSTart NGO (M as
‘Művészet’ as ‘Art’ / O as ‘Oktatás’ as ‘Education’ / ST as ‘Studio’) reflects the most important aims and activities the association deals with. Its mission is to promote, generate, implement and support all activities in the fields of arts, culture, education and related areas, aimed at the development of talent and skills in local, national, European and the wider international dimensions. The name of the organisation also includes the name of a bridge, which refers to the need to connect different social groups, different educational levels, different educational methods and providers, and different countries, in a kind of bridging role.
The organisers’ team, in charge of both the project coordination and the educational content of the program, is 2 young youth work professionals, Alexandra Vinczi and Eszter Horváth.
