Pro to, abyste se na tento projekt přihlásili je nutné, abyste vlastnili nejen občanský průkaz (který musíte mít ze zákona), ale také platný cestovní pas (s platností min. ještě 150 dní od datumu začátku vámi vybraného projektu).

V rámci programu ERASMUS+ jsou následující finanční specifika: v rámci všech projektů je kompletně (ze 100%) zajištěno jídlo, ubytování, aktivity, a to vše je zcela pokryto z fondů EU programu ERASMUS+ a zařízeno organizátory. Účastníkům dále budou proplaceny cestovní náklady (reimbursement) do max. výše €275 (v případě tohoto projektu) z místa bydliště do místa konání projektu a zpět.

Popis projektu:

„Democracy in Action: Fostering Civic Engagement“ training course will be implemented in Antalya/Türkiye between 15-23 April 2024. Germany, Türkiye, North Macedonia, Greece, Romania, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Hungary and Latvia are participating countries in this training course. There will be 4 participants from each country, in total 36. Half of the participants will be with fewer opportunities from each country.

During the training course, informal and non-formal education methods will be used and will be supported by various simulations, tasks, case studies, role plays, field studies, surveys and discussions. Energizers will be applied before each activity.

We’ll have Intercultural Nights where our participants will present their countries with food and drink, music and clothes. Very important part of the approach of the training course are participant’s centered exercises and discussions, where participants are provided with an opportunity to use the entire group as a source of learning and are facilitated in the direction of exchanging the impressions, previous knowledge and experience and drawing the common conclusions out of it.

Project aim:

The project aims to equip youth workers/leaders with the knowledge and skills necessary to promote democracy and active citizenship among young people. We believe that democracy is essential for the development of a fair, just, and inclusive society, and that it can only be sustained if citizens actively participate in the democratic process. Therefore, our project aims to empower youth workers to engage with young people in their communities and promote active  citizenship through civic education, advocacy, and participation.

Objectives:

  • To provide young people with a space for learning, reflection, and dialogue about democracy and active citizenship
  • To promote an inclusive and participatory approach to democracy and active citizenship among young people from diverse backgrounds
  • To develop the skills, knowledge, and attitudes needed for young people to become active citizens and engage in civic life
  • To promote a better understanding of democracy, human rights, and civic engagement among young people
  • To create a network of youth workers across Europe who are committed to promoting democracy and active citizenship
  • To foster cooperation and exchange of best practices among youth workers working in the field of democracy and active citizenship
  • To create a toolbox during the training course which has spesific activities about democracy and active citizenship and best practices of partners
  • To learn the experiences on democracy and human rights of other countries
  • To meet politicans and have opportunity to ask questions learn their experiences
  • Equip participants with skills in the field of project management in order to enable them to develop quality youth projects about democracy, develop new projects about project topic to be applied under Erasmus+ Programme

Participants‘ profile:

  • dedicated to work with young people in their local reality;
  • have the basic knowledge of facilitation of non- formal learning processes;
  • have a desire to apply their competences in developing new non-formal education tools;
  • motivated, open-minded, willing to cooperate and share from experience;
  • open for reflect on their experiences related to the topic;
  • desire to explore new ideas and promote youth participation among their peers;
  • motivation and capacity to disseminate the project result;
  • ability to communicate in English;
  • half of the participants from each county will be youngsters with fewer opportunities (social/economiecal/geographical obstacles, cultural differences, educational diff iculties, refugees, migrants)
  • Age limit: All participants should be over the 18 years old.
  • Number of participants: 4 participants per each country
