Program, akce: Evropský sbor solidarity (ESC) — individuální dlouhodobé dobrovolnictví (6-12 měsíců)

Pokud máte zájem se přihlásit, prosím zašlete nám životopis (v angličtině) a motivační dopis v jednom emailu na: carlos.pereira@amadeira.pt a info@eycb.eu. Prosím do předmětu emailu uveďte „Madeiran Heritage ESC + vaše celé jméno“. Do emailu prosím uveďte od kdy máte zájem začít dobrovolničit a na kolik měsíců.
Pro to, abyste na tento projekt mohli jet je nutné, abyste vlastnili nejen občanský průkaz (který musíte mít ze zákona), ale také platný cestovní pas (s platností min. ještě 150 dní od datumu začátku vámi vybraného projektu).
V rámci programu Evropský sbor solidarity jsou následující finanční specifika: v rámci všech projektů ESC je kompletně (ze 100 %) zajištěno jídlo, ubytování, aktivity, povinné doplňkové pojištění u pojišťovny Henner, jazykový kurz, místní doprava, a to vše je zcela pokryto z fondů EU programu Evropský sbor solidarity a zařízeno organizátory. Účastníkům dále budou proplaceny cestovní náklady (v případě tohoto projektu) ve výši max. €580 z místa bydliště do místa konání projektu a zpět.
Účastník musí:
- Být ve věku 18-30 let;
- Být zaregistrovaný na portálu ESC (v případě, že máte s registrací problém, řiďte se tímto návodem)
- Mít zájem o dobrovolnictví a tento projekt;
- Ovládat angličtinu alespoň na úrovni B1

Popis ESC dobrovolnické pozice:
We are looking for volunteers to join our project on Madeira Island, Portugal, under the European Solidarity Corps, to collaborate on a cultural program supporting local communities: the MADEIRAN HERITAGE program. Get a glimpse of the experience: Watch our video here!
Volunteers participating in this program will primarily lead guided tours in their native language and English. These tours take place in the streets and various buildings and monuments of Funchal. Acting as guides, the volunteers will share their learning and experiences about Madeira, its culture, and its community with local and international visitors. Key locations included in these tours are the University, the City Hall, the Madeira Parliament, the Farmers’ Market, the city’s gardens and parks, the Madeira Wine Cellars, the Cathedral, the Photography Museum, and several century-old shops.
Volunteers will also help organize other initiatives, such as free educational visits for local schools, exhibitions, cultural tours, audio guides, dramatized visits with street theater featuring local young actors, music concerts, and other cultural activities. Additionally, they will promote volunteering projects locally and abroad, such as the European Solidarity Corps itself.
In addition to cultural activities, the program includes an environmental component. Volunteers will participate in initiatives such as planting native and endemic species in nature reserves and cleaning Madeira’s forests.
The goals of our program are to showcase Madeira’s rich tangible and intangible heritage and to raise funds to support initiatives aimed at helping students, young people, and children in local communities. These efforts seek to combat school dropout rates and promote the continuation of education through higher studies.
MADEIRAN HERITAGE has received several national and international awards, including the Good Practices Award for Youth Associativism, presented by the Portuguese Institute for Sports and Youth, and the University Volunteer Award, promoted by Santander.
Our organization has had the privilege of working with the European Solidarity Corps (formerly the European Voluntary Service) for over 10 years and has hosted dozens of volunteers from various nationalities.
