Program, akce: Evropský sbor solidarity (ESC) — dobrovolnické týmy (15 dní)
Termíny konání:
- Habitat Maintanence: 1.—15. srpen 2024 – tento dobrovolnický tým je plně obsazen
- Illegal Dumpsite Cleanup: 28. srpen—11. září 2024
Je možné jet pouze na jeden termín (není možné jet na oba). Na který termín se hlásíte uvedete do přihláškového formuláře.
Místo konání: Národní park Sošice (Žumberak), Chorvatsko
Počet volných míst: 3 dobrovolníci/termín

Pokud máte zájem se přihlásit, prosím odešlete svou vyplněnou přihlášku zde. Prosím berte na vědomí, že součástí přihlášky je uploadování motivačního dopisu a životopisu v angličtině.
Můžete se hlásit jako náhradníci.
Hostitelská organizace: Public Institution „Žumberak – Samoborsko gorje Nature Park
V rámci programu Evropský sbor solidarity jsou následující finanční specifika: v rámci všech projektů ESC je kompletně (ze 100 %) zajištěno jídlo, ubytování, aktivity, povinné doplňkové pojištění u pojišťovny Henner, místní doprava, a to vše je zcela pokryto z fondů EU programu Evropský sbor solidarity a zařízeno organizátory. Účastníkům dále budou proplaceny cestovní náklady (v případě tohoto projektu) ve výši max. €211 (v případě letecké dopravy) nebo €285 (v případně pozemní dopravy autobusem/vlakem) z místa bydliště do místa konání projektu a zpět.
Účastník musí:
- Být ve věku 18-30 let;
- Být zaregistrovaný na portálu ESC (v případě, že máte s registrací problém, řiďte se tímto návodem)
- Mít zájem o dobrovolnictví a tento projekt;
- Ovládat angličtinu alespoň na úrovni B1
Popis dobrovolnických příležitostí:
Croatia has 8 National Parks and 12 Nature Parks and you will visit this one, just 30 km away from Zagreb, the capital of Croatia.
The Park stretches over hilly and mountainous area with 342 sq km in total. It’s a rural area with 135 villages and vast, mostly untouched nature. Rich cultural heritage is seen in it’s history and more than 30 archeological sites. Ready to explore it all?
Who can join?
Anyone can join if they are between 18 and 30 years of age
You will be asked to:
- a) to know about ESC principles and to have a valid profile on ESC portal and a participant referent number (more details within your local sending organization)
- b) to write a motivational letter (present yourself and write why do you want to volunteer in this Nature Park)
- c) to meet us online on skype/zoom in a short meeting (present your goals, wishes, fears, working habits, food preferences, allergies, anything that comes to mind…)
Draft of a workday schedule:
7:00 – 8:00 breakfast (prepared by members of your team)
8:00 – 9:00 „me-time” and/or teambuilding
9:00 – 12:00 working activities
12:00 – 13:00 lunch (picnic style at the workplace, with sandwiches, salads and fruit)
13:00 – 16:00 working activities
16:00 – 18:00 workshops & free time
18:00 – 19:00 dinner (cooked meal in a restaurant nearby)
19:00 – free time
Weekends: free time (meals at the same time as weekdays)
Detailed timetable for 15 days of each activity will be sent later to the organizations and volunteers. The timetable can be adjusted to the needs of the volunteers and activities.
We will work through a lot of thematic areas in our educational and practical workshops, so you will have the opportunity to learn about:

TEAM 1: Habitat Maintanence: 1—15 August 2024
Activities:
- practical: cleaning grasslands, fens, ponds
- theoretical: habitats, wildlife, local population, sustainability, ecology, conservation and management
This activity will also be done using digital tools, using presentations and video materials for deeper understanding and better skills and examples when volunteers return home.
TEAM 2: Illegal Dumpsite Cleanup: 28 August—11 September 2024
Activities:
- practical: cleaning waste from nature
- theoretical: karst area, conservation, recycling, waste separation, re-usage of materials, ecology
This activity will also be done using digital tools, using presentations and video materials for deeper understanding and better skills and examples when volunteers return home.
