Popis projektu:

Human rights are foundational principles that uphold the dignity, freedom, and equality of every individual, yet they are often challenged and violated in various forms across the globe. By utilizing films and case studies that represent diverse cultures, histories, and perspectives, we will explore the complex tapestry of human rights struggles and triumphs.

Themes of the training:

The training will focus on the fundamental principles of human rights that safeguard individual dignity, freedom, and equality, while addressing the challenges and violations that persist globally. Through the examination of films and case studies that showcase a variety of cultures, histories, and perspectives, participants will engage with the intricate landscape of human rights issues, gaining insights into both the struggles and triumphs experienced by different communities. This exploration aims to foster a deeper understanding of human rights advocacy and the diverse narratives that shape our collective pursuit of justice and equity.

The overall aim of the training is to empower participants to become active and engaged members of their communities through storytelling, advocacy, and intercultural exchange. By taking part in the training RIGHTS4ALL, participants will cultivate the skills and knowledge necessary to effectively advocate for human rights within their own contexts. Through collaborative activities and discussions, participants will develop a nuanced understanding of how local and global human rights issues are interconnected.

Ultimately, the training aims to create a network of informed advocates who can harness their experiences and insights to influence policies, raise awareness, and promote human rights initiatives in their communities. By the end of the program, participants will emerge equipped not only with theoretical knowledge but also with practical strategies for implementing change, thereby contributing to the ongoing struggle for justice, equity, and human dignity for all.

Learning objectives of the training are:

  • Understand the principles of democracy, rule of law, and human rights;
  • Identify common threats to these values in contemporary societies;
  • Develop skills to advocate for human rights and challenge violations;
  • Gain practical tools for navigating complex information environments on the human rights theme;
  • Collaborate with others to build networks that support democratic integrity;
  • Strengthen communication, teamwork, and leadership skills in diverse settings;
  • Foster new partnerships and project ideas under the Erasmus+ Programme;
  • Create your own cases as the tools for your further activities;
  • Become an active advocate of change.

The methodology of the training:

The training will employ non-formal learning methodologies such as interactive workshops, role plays, discussions, and debates. Participants will engage in activities that build understanding and skills, such as icebreakers, team-building exercises, and group reflections. Experienced trainers will guide the process, fostering an inclusive and dynamic learning environment that encourages participation, creativity, and critical thinking.
