Pro to, abyste se na tento projekt přihlásili je nutné, abyste vlastnili nejen občanský průkaz (který musíte mít ze zákona), ale také platný cestovní pas (s platností min. ještě 150 dní od datumu začátku vámi vybraného projektu).

V rámci programu ERASMUS+ jsou následující finanční specifika: v rámci všech projektů je kompletně (ze 100%) zajištěno jídlo, ubytování, aktivity, a to vše je zcela pokryto z fondů EU programu ERASMUS+ a zařízeno organizátory. Účastníkům dále budou proplaceny cestovní náklady (reimbursement) (v případě tohoto projektu) z místa bydliště do místa konání projektu a zpět do max. výše:

  • €309 – v případě letecké dopravy
  • €411 v případě ‚zelené‘ pozemní dopravy (autobusy, vlaky)

Popis projektu:

Aim: To equip youth workers with the skills, knowledge, and tools needed to engage and empower Roma youth, fostering their active participation in democratic processes and aligning with the EU Youth Goals for a more inclusive and cohesive society.

Objectives:

  • Increase the knowledge and skills of 35 youth workers on engaging Roma youth by using non-formal education approaches focused on understanding the cultural and social context of Roma communities.
  • Strengthen the ability of youth workers to promote Roma youth participation in democratic life through interactive activities that align with EU Youth Goal 9, focusing on civic engagement and decision-making.
  • Build the capacity of participants to create inclusive and equality-based initiatives by providing tools and methods aligned with EU Youth Goal 3 to combat discrimination and promote equal opportunities for Roma youth.
  • Facilitate the exchange of best practices and peer learning among participants through collaborative exercises and sharing experiences on  orking with Roma youth, ensuring knowledge transfer across the group.

Participants‘ profile:

 It is important for the participants to be relevant, to fit the profile (whcih is quite wide: from professionals to volunteers) and it is important be interested in the topic. The participants do not have to be experienced, this is a training course where all participants come to learn. Age limit is 18+.

  • Youth Workers and Educators: Professionals actively working with young people, particularly in non-formal education settings, who are looking to improve their understanding and skills in working with Roma communities.
  • Volunteers interested in Roma inclusion: Individuals passionate about social inclusion who wish to deepen their involvement in working with Roma youth, especially in participatory processes and empowerment strategies.
  • Social Workers with limited experience in Youth Work: Individuals with experience working with marginalized communities, such as Roma, but who need to develop specific competencies in youth work and engaging young people in democratic life.
  • Youth leaders from Roma or minority communities: Youth workers or leaders from Roma or other minority communities who can contribute insights and serve as role models within their communities while enhancing their professional capacities.
  • Youth Organization representatives: Participants from youth-focused NGOs or organizations seeking to enhance their capacity to engage Roma youth in their programs and promote inclusivity, equality, and civic participation.

Who will take part:

Youth-Focused Organizations

  • Youth-Focused NGOs: Organizations working directly with young people, particularly using non-formal education methods to foster youth participation and engagement.
  • Organizations Working with Marginalized Communities: NGOs focused on social inclusion, equality, and human rights, especially those experienced in addressing the needs of Roma or other marginalized groups.
  • RROMA grassroots organisations.
  • NGOs with Experience in Democratic Participation: Organizations that promote active citizenship, civic engagement, and democratic participation among young people, aligning with EU Youth Goals related to youth empowerment in decision-making processes.
  • Experienced Erasmus+ and International Cooperation NGOs: NGOs with experience in Erasmus+ projects or international cooperation programs, demonstrating an understanding of the administrative, logistical, and educational aspects of transnational youth work.
  • Capacity to Implement Long-Term Local Initiatives: NGOs capable of applying the outcomes of the training locally and sustaining initiatives that promote Roma youth participation and inclusion in democratic and societal life.

Venue:

The participants will be accommodated in La Padure Pension in Brebu village near Resita, Caras-Severin, 2-3 participants/room with own bathroom. The venue has internet, video projector, conference room, dining room with own restaurant and a big green yard to enjoy the free time. It is located near the main road but surrounded by forest. It is a very pleasant rustic place. You should bring your own hygienic products and flip flops.
