About the project:
The objectives of this project are multi-faceted. Its primary goal is to increase and disseminate knowledge on the field and raise young participants’ awareness and sensitization about circular economy principles and climate change.
This includes highlighting the benefits of responsible resource management, fostering sustainable consumption patterns, and engaging young people and youth workers in environmental protection while enhancing their campaigning skills.
One crucial aspect of the project is to promote sustainable consumption practices withing the communities of young individuals. It seeks to encourage the adoption of sustainable consumption practices among youngsters, communities, and industries.
By promoting practices such as recycling, repair, remanufacturing, and responsible waste management, the project aims to minimize the adverse impact of resource extraction and overconsumption.
Additionally, the project aspires to contribute to job creation within the context of circular economy practices. By promoting recycling, repair, and other circular activities, it seeks to align environmental needs with the companies running circular economy projects.
Furthermore, the project is committed to advocating for inclusive environmental strategies. It aims to ensure that the transition to a circular economy is inclusive and equitable, addressing the disproportionate impact of unsustainable practices on vulnerable communities while promoting social justice alongside environmental protection.
