Pro to, abyste se na tento projekt přihlásili je nutné, abyste vlastnili nejen občanský průkaz (který musíte mít ze zákona), ale také platný cestovní pas (s platností min. ještě 150 dní od datumu začátku vámi vybraného projektu).

V rámci programu ERASMUS+ jsou následující finanční specifika: v rámci všech projektů je kompletně (ze 100%) zajištěno jídlo, ubytování, aktivity, a to vše je zcela pokryto z fondů EU programu ERASMUS+ a zařízeno organizátory. Účastníkům dále budou proplaceny cestovní náklady (reimbursement) do max. výše €360 (v případě tohoto projektu) z místa bydliště do místa konání projektu a zpět.

Popis projektu:

Themes of the training course:

  • Capacity building of participated organisations which will be aimed at addressing their youth work on local and European voluntary activities (European Solidarity Corps programme = ESC) with young people in NEET (= Not in Education, Employment or Training).
  • Gaining new and innovative non–formal educational approaches and methods with special focus on self – directed and social learning and best youth work practices with local and European volunteers; Practicing youth projects according to the proposals of Erasmus + programme and become expert on its project management and content wise as social, personal and professional development of ESC volunteers and local young people through participation of European volunteers;
  • Competence development of youth workers, youth leaders: to become mentors, tutors and sending coordinators who are able to support the competence development of local and European volunteers and local young people in NEET by using creative and innovative non – formal educational methods as self – directed and social learning and adapt it into local voluntary youth work;
  • Competence development of local young people in NEET: being involved into a new more attractive education as self–directed and social learning based on their passion and learn to overcome their own challenges in their lives. Competence development based on self-directed  learning: social approach: being able to find their strength and follow their passion, practicing giving support, discovering own colours and follow their dreams: being able to initiate own projects e.g. small social enterprise based on self – directed learning.

Learning objectives:

  • To explore and adapt the best practices of voluntary youth work from the participated countries;
  • To share and explore innovative youth work methods, tools and techniques regarding to self–directed learning within local and European voluntary work;
  • To be able to offer more attractive educational possibilities for young people in NEET as self–directed and social learning within local and European voluntary work in order to foster their competences with special focus on sense of initiatives and entrepreneurship, communication in foreign languages and cultural awareness and expression;
  • To be able to promote local and international voluntarism as tool for self–directed and social learning, empowerment, participation in society, self – awareness, initiative and entrepreneurship, employability, etc.
  • To invent local and transnational voluntary projects with special focus on self–directed and social learning of young people in NEET situation according to the proposals of Erasmus + programme and European Solidarity Corps.

Programme flow:

  1. Starting from Me as competence development;
  2. Put theories into practice regarding myself
  3. Put theories into practice regarding to my target group as young people in NEET and/or local/transnational volunteers;
  4. Sharing and exchanging good practices for competence development of my target group;
  5. Preparing open educational resources as methods for competence development of young people in NEET through local or European voluntary activities;
  6. Inventing new local and transnational voluntary projects according to the proposals of Erasmus + programme and European Solidarity Corps with special focus on self – directed learning and other creative and innovative methods for competence development of young people in NEET.

Theoretical parts:

  • To get acquainted with the new Youth sector within Erasmus+ programme and Voluntary and Solidarity projects according to the new requirements of European Solidarity Corps;
  • To explore the European Youth Strategy “Engaging, Connecting and Empowering young people” and the 8th Youth Goal “Quality learning”; Maslow model in the context of young people in NEET;
  • Definitions of Self – directed learning;
  • The phases of Self – directed learning process by Emerald;
  • Self – directed learning stages by Grow;
  • IT technology as support tool for self – directed learning by Saomya Saxena;
  • Introduction of Personal Learning Network by Joe Sabado.

Practical parts of the training course:

  • Practicing the process of self – directed learning according to the methods made by Maurice Gibbon;
  • Adapting self – directed learning process and its’ methods into the local and European voluntary work;
  • Clarifying the roles and tasks of mentors, tutors, sending coordinators, volunteer managers in the self – directed learning process of local and
    transnational volunteers;
  • Identifying the most appropriate support tools of self – directed learning by IT technology within local and European voluntary activities;
  • Practicing to set up Personal Learning Network within local and European voluntary activities;
  • Inventing new local and transnational voluntary projects against NEET situation of young people by using creative and innovative methods on competence development of local and European young people.

Who can participate in the training course?

  • Youth workers, youth leaders who are directly working with young people in NEET and having experiences to run at least one European Voluntary Projects as mentor, supervisor, sending coordinator, tutor, etc.;
  • Youth workers, youth leaders who are willing to cooperate Erasmus+ or European Solidarity Corps projects after the training course and being part of an international network in order to fights against NEET situation of young people;
  • Ready to take part in the whole training course;
  • Have organizational support for further activities with Erasmus + projects;
  • To be able to communicate in English language.
