Popis projektu:

What is this project about?

This training course equips youth workers and youth leaders with the essential knowledge and tools for effective team building and group dynamics, with a special emphasis on creating positive, inclusive, and cohesive teams within Erasmus+ projects.

Participants will explore how teams function, what makes them thrive, and what to do when things go wrong. Because even the best teams face conflicts, misunderstandings, or moments of tension, this training goes beyond the basics: it provides practical strategies for navigating drama-free conflict resolution, active listening, managing different personalities, and turning challenges into opportunities for growth.

Using non-formal education methods, the training will:

  • Deepen participants’ understanding of group processes and development stages
  • Strengthen collaboration, empathy, and mutual respect
  • Provide professional guidance on how to build trust, handle disagreements constructively, and ensure everyone feels valued
  • Encourage participants to share experiences, tools, and best practices in their youth work contexts

By the end of the course, participants will feel empowered to create and maintain supportive, high-performing teams, contributing to more impactful, sustainable Erasmus+ projects.

Project activities:

The training will cover a range of essential topics, including the fundamentals of team building and group dynamics, with a specific focus on their application in non-formal education. Participants will explore strategies for fostering effective collaboration, understanding different team roles, and managing group processes. They will learn how to address challenges within teams, enhance communication, and create an inclusive environment that promotes trust and cohesion. Additionally, the training will provide practical tools and techniques for building strong, resilient teams and managing group dynamics effectively in youth work settings.

Detailed time table will be delivered in later phase of preparation.

There will be no any program on travel days, participants are free to arrive/depart at any time they want on July 6th/July 14th. Program will be implemented from July 7th-13th. There will be 4 workshops per day. There will be breaks in between. There will be enough of free time for participants to visit Samobor or Zagreb.
