Pro to, abyste se na tento projekt přihlásili je nutné, abyste vlastnili nejen občanský průkaz (který musíte mít ze zákona), ale také platný cestovní pas (s platností min. ještě 150 dní od datumu začátku vámi vybraného projektu).
V rámci programu Erasmus+ Mládež jsou následující finanční specifika: v rámci všech projektů je kompletně (ze 100%) zajištěno jídlo, ubytování, aktivity, a to vše je zcela pokryto z fondu programu Erasmus+ Mládež a zařízeno organizátory. Účastníkům dále budou proplaceny cestovní náklady (reimbursement) do max. výše €275 (v případě tohoto projektu) z místa bydliště do místa konání projektu a zpět.

„Womenity“ is a Mobility of Youth Workers activity promoted by the Italian organisation Cooperativa Sociale Studio Progetto. The overall aim of the training course is to train youth workers lending their support to involve youth for gender equality. Gender equity and inequality will be addressed through the use of creative digital tools because images are a powerful tool for reflection and call to action, and digital media has the widest impact reach. It is aimed at to bring everyone’s messages for gender equity and equality through comics that we also put in a joint comic book and present it in a public exhibition.
Themes of the training: We are surrounded by gender. It manifests itself as a pattern of relations that develop over time to define male and female, masculinity and femininity, simultaneously structuring and regulating people’s relation to society.
Gender is embedded in our institutions, our actions, our beliefs, and our desires. It is rooted in the family, the neighbourhood, church, school, the media, walking down the street, eating in a restaurant, going to the restroom. Gender is asymmetrical. Whatever a person may feel about their current position on the social ladder, there is no question that male and female are not simply two equal sides of a coin. Inequality is built into gender at a very basic level, and what we experience as individuals emerges within a far-reaching social order that oppresses each of us.
While the world is still obsessed with the continual differentiation of male and female, it is our job as youth workers to examine gender from a new perspective and research how this dichotomy came to be seen as common sense and contribute to our oppression. With our comics we want to look beyond the gender binary and try to re-appropriate it. As images are quite powerful in sending messages to young people, it is definitely a way for us to address all sorts of daily challenges we are facing. Therefore, we designed our project especially in that context: to challenge gender clichés with rich and powerful imaginary and tell stories with the visual language of the comics.

Learning objectives of the training are:
- To explore gender equity and inequity in youth work realities;
- To share non-formal learning activities and creative exercises on exploring gender, the roles of the socially assigned behaviour patterns and emotions to feel about it.
- To promote Erasmus+ Programme as a tool for gender equity for young people.
The methodology of the training:
Methodology of the project is based on an intercultural approach and non-formal education. We have foreseen a dedicated workshop (theory and practice) on non-formal education to make them understand how this tool can be used and applied in their youth work reality. General methodology will reflect different learning styles/needs. Methodology that we will use will lead to equal and active participation of all participants. We will aim to create a safe environment for learning and the flow and counter flow from the individual needs to the group needs to the topic to the individual and so on. To increase active participation of youth workers during the planned activities will be used different exercises combination of individual and team work, learner-centred ways, theoretical inputs and exercises.
We will employ a variety of different tools: ice-breakers, name games, short activities allowing participants to learn each other’s names, team-building activities, energizers, small group work, large group work, simulation activities and role plays, media workshops (new media, social media, multimedia), dance workshops, intercultural activities, open-space activities, peer review, self-evaluation.
We’d like to invite participants facing fewer opportunities to take part in this mobility.
- Youth workers, that work with minority, Roma or immigrants organizations that deal with minorities, Roma and refugees problems based in Europe. Some of these youth workers are facing an unemployment situation although they support many local organizations, but they are looking for paid job opportunities;
- Programme managers, that design specific programmes that support minorities, Roma people or refugees people that are living in disadvantaged situations and facing problems like language barriers, legalizations, racism, discrimination, xenophobia and prejudice from national people in the countries of their residence;
- Leaders of refugee groups, that help young refugees to adapt to the local realities and introducing them to the local systems and institutions as a way to prepare them for better inclusion in European society. Some of these refugees that youth leaders
- Supports are facing problems of adaptation at schools, dealing with cultural differences and recruitment of extremist groups due to exclusion feelings.
- Refugees included are participants with fewer opportunities who are facing economic, social and geographical obstacles.
Who can participate in the training:
- Youth workers, youth leaders who are directly working with young people with fewer opportunities;
- Youth workers, youth leaders who already had at least 1 international youth work experience;
- Youth workers, youth leaders who are interested in using comics in their daily youth work activities in order to deal with gender equity and inequality;
- Ready to take part at least one activity and the practice period;
- Have organizational support for further activities;
- To be able to communicate English language.
