Pro to, abyste se na tento projekt přihlásili je nutné, abyste vlastnili nejen občanský průkaz (který musíte mít ze zákona), ale také platný cestovní pas (s platností min. ještě 150 dní od datumu začátku vámi vybraného projektu).

V rámci programu ERASMUS+ jsou následující finanční specifika: v rámci všech projektů je kompletně (ze 100%) zajištěno jídlo, ubytování, aktivity, a to vše je zcela pokryto z fondů EU programu ERASMUS+ a zařízeno organizátory. Účastníkům dále budou proplaceny cestovní náklady (reimbursement) do max. výše €275 (v případě tohoto projektu) z místa bydliště do místa konání projektu a zpět.

Popis projektu:

“YOUTH MEDIA ACTIVISM” is a training course based on non-formal and on the principles of hands-on learning and transfer of skills, however according to non-formal technics.

Nowadays, it is vital for young people and civil society youth organizations to grasp the work of social media, not only because they are tools of free promotion of one’s activities and projects, but also because they are now the most powerful tools that activate communities behind a cause.

The course will present to the participants the basics of communication, public speaking, influence, persuasion and rhetoric and how this applies to social media and how messages and values are transmitted to the public and audience.

The TC will consider the sociology and psychology of mass communication, as well as analyze the most recent existing movements that have made extensive use of social media, which have proved to be essential for their success.

The most important part of the TC includes strong elements of practice and hands-on transfer of knowledge, in which everything that has been learned.

“YOUTH MEDIA ACTIVISM” Training Programme will achieve the following objectives:

  • Develop bases on communication, public communication, influence, persuasion and rhetoric and how this applies to social media and how messages and values are transmitted to the general public and audience;
  • Develop the skills and abilities of youth workers to support the active participation of young people in the context of the local communities, through the use of instruments and methods of social media.
  • Examine the possibilities for use of social media for youth activism;
  • Reflect on the non-formal education, of its methods and the applicability of them within social networks;
  • Develop creative and attractive ways to leverage social media for youth activism, with particular attention to civil engagement;
  • Identify opportunities for engagement of local communities and design and develop action plans for the use of social media in the local contexts of reference.

Participants profile:

This training course is targeting youth workers & youth leaders (active members of organizations, communities who work with young people & are involved in activities carried out by sending organizations). Ideally, participants should be in a position of daily working with youngsters. It is not a must to be a full active member of the sending organization as the youth workers may come from the community youth centers or local schools & institutions of partner organizations.

Participants must be aged 18+ & with a good command of English language, Participants are requested to committed to work through the whole main activity (about 8-10 hours per day). Participants should furthermore commit to carry out preparatory task asked for by the organisers, and be willing to follow‐up on the training course via active youth work, ideally in co‐operation with their sending/partner organisation. The training programme is designed to be intensive and involving, we await maximum involvement of chosen participants in the project activity.
