Popis projektu:

Migration is becoming a serious issue are serious for south Italy, which is one of the main entry points for people travelling to Europe via north Africa. Thought the Mediterranean and Adriatic coast so far this year more than 93,000 mainly sub-Saharan African and Bangladeshi migrants have arrived by boat in southern Italy, a 17 per cent increase when compared to the same period last year, the Italian interior ministry said.

For more than a decade, the Refugees and Asylum Seekers Movements here in Bari and Puglia region ,has been supporting migrants stand up to exploitative employers and appeal effectively for documents that allow them to find legal jobs and houses.

This project is the result of a shared visions and aimed towards bringing a group of youths together in order to take a look at the various reasons that can lead to conflicts ensuing as well as to discuss and brainstorm different solutions to lessen the amount of conflicts that break out. Youth will have a chance to voice their own opinions and take a more active role in society. We will discuss how conflicts on a social, national, regional and international level affect us and how we can come together to counteract the negative effects of such conflicts.

The aim of the project is to to raise awareness about Human rights in spheres of migration and disabilities through making Human rights escape rooms.

Project sets following objectives:

  • Spread ideas of human rights protection
  • Provide youth workers with tools and knowledge on how to organise escape rooms, which will bring ideas of human rights protection to greater amount of people, especially youth.
  • Show that dealing with human rights can be done in various ways through providing participants with ideas and methods on non- standard approach to human rights education •To create working tools which can be used in local communities.
  • Start a network of youth workers in Europe who are ready to do quest rooms on human rights by giving them an opportunity to practice this approach and creating a good atmosphere for connection between participants
  • Bring understanding of nowadays problems in human rights area through giving examples, ideas and theoretical knowledge during the project
  • To raise awareness of such human rights topics as migration and disabilities.

Each country will be represented by their youth workers from different regions of country.
