Popis projektu:

At the heart of today’s environmental challenges, this project emerges as an essential response to the need to preserve our ecosystem and foster a sustainable way of life. The direct impacts of our actions on the planet threaten the ecological balance, affecting our quality of life and that of future generations.

Within this dynamic, the initiative focuses its essence on the need to exchange good practices. This approach aims to share knowledge, experiences and successes in adopting environmentally friendly practices. The ultimate goal is to create a collaborative platform where individuals, communities and organizations work together to identify and implement tangible solutions.

Objectives:

  • Foster awareness and stimulate collective contemplation regarding global environmental issues, specifically their impact on our lives, nature, societies, ourselves, and the future.
  • Share best practices concerning diverse environmental initiatives in our communities.
  • Uncover and endorse tools/methods that can be seamlessly incorporated into daily routines to diminish individual environmental footprints.
  • Formulate sustainable follow-up initiatives aimed at engaging hard-to- reach young individuals, to be implemented by youth workers post-training.

Participants‘ profile:

  • Age: +18
  • Being motivated by the topic and able to share the project results in his/her local community in the dissemination and follow up process
  • Active participation in all sessions & English-speaking abilities is mandatory
  • Participants should be able to work in groups, share their ideas, give presentations, and express themselves Interested in working cultural dialogue issues
  • Open minded mindset to other cultures/diversity – we are going to spent a lot of days together and share rooms with other youth in a house

Contribution from each participant:

Before the project:

  • Conduct research on environmental practices and conditions in your country or local community regarding environmental issues.
  • Familiarize yourself with the NGO for the upcoming TC and prepare a presentation.
  • Also, get ready for the cultural night with a prepared presentation.

During the project:

  • Participants are required to attend all sessions.
  • Participants must come prepared with presentations for their respective sessions.
  • Participants will actively engage in cleaning and food-related activities as part of the „Feed Your Planet“ project. We will hold sessions on the first day to create a program; the primary goal is hands-on learning, fostering awareness about our food choices, sharing new recipes, and addressing food waste. Participants are encouraged to bring ingredients from their countries for the recipes, and we can assist by covering the costs,  substantiated by an invoice within a specified limit.

After the project:

  • Participants are expected to actively engage in organizing one or more activities related to the theme in their country, such as workshops, videos, interviews, cleanups, etc. This includes promoting both the Erasmus+ project and the Feed Your Planet initiative with the hashtag #FeedYourPlanet.
  • Organising and attending the follow-up activities is mandatory, as without it, refund processes cannot be initiated.
