Pro to, abyste na tento projekt mohli jet je nutné, abyste vlastnili nejen občanský průkaz (který musíte mít ze zákona), ale také platný cestovní pas (s platností min. ještě 150 dní od datumu začátku vámi vybraného projektu).
V rámci programu Evropský sbor solidarity jsou následující finanční specifika: v rámci všech projektů ESC je kompletně (ze 100 %) zajištěno jídlo, ubytování, aktivity, povinné doplňkové pojištění u pojišťovny Henner, jazykový kurz, místní doprava, a to vše je zcela pokryto z fondů EU programu Evropský sbor solidarity a zařízeno organizátory. Účastníkům dále budou proplaceny cestovní náklady (v případě tohoto projektu) ve výši max. €275 z místa bydliště do místa konání projektu a zpět.
Účastník musí:
- Být ve věku 18-30 let;
- Být zaregistrovaný na portálu ESC (v případě, že máte s registrací problém, řiďte se tímto návodem)
- Mít zájem o dobrovolnictví a tento projekt;
- Ovládat angličtinu alespoň na úrovni B1

’L.E.A.D’ is a 10/11-month program which allows you to stay in Sofia, Bulgaria and gain skills for running E+ projects, local events & social media.
The opportunity is for you if…you are :
• Interested in project/event management and youth work;
• See yourself working or running an NGO in the future;
• Passionate about Erasmus+ & ESC;
• Coming from ESC Program country;
• Aged 18-30.
As a volunteer you’ll have a chance to develop your talents, get mentored by the team and contribute to the projects & daily tasks of our organization.
The project covers:
• Travel costs from hometown and back;
• Food & pocket money;
• EU insurance;
• Accommodation;
• Local & international trainings.

ABOUT SYNERGY BULGARIA
Synergy Bulgaria is a Sofia-based NGO with mission to support young people in reaching their highest potential and becoming active members of society.
We’re active both on local and international level.
Internationally our projects aim to address such topics as entrepreneurship, personal growth & quality youth work. We organise cross-European trainings and youth exchanges, as well as run an online community for NGO leaders and project managers.
In Sofia we aim to connect to a local community in numerous ways: from picnics & workshops to educational programs and storytelling events. Our activities are carried out in English and explore the topics of leadership, entrepreneurial mindset, mental well-being and personal growth.

L.E.A.D. with Synergy Bulgaria was created for young people who have aspirations, dreams and ideas, and are ready to grow together with us both personally & professionally.
As a volunteer you’ll have a chance to develop your talents, get mentored by the team and contribute to the projects & daily tasks of our organization.
L.E.A.D. stands for:
- Learn from & together with us: we offer wide expertise and give space to co-create.
- Engage in Synergy activities, both online and offline, Sofia-based and not only.
- Act bravely! We welcome proactivity and stepping up. Mistakes happen, and we see them as a part of great learning.
- Develop yourself. If you’re 100% in, it will happen anyway (we guarantee).

VOLUNTEERS‘ ACTIVITIES:
We will be happy to welcome volunteers who are ready to actively participate in the project and willing to learn. We will support you in creating your own learning goals and in the process of achieving them, as well as in creating your own personal project.
Your activities will/can include:
- Besides, in 2022 we opened Synergy House: Volunteering & Retreat Center outside of Sofia where we carry out our summer activities. You’re also welcome to join us there!
- Developing a personal project.
- Organizing local events & workshops;
- Assistance in managing Erasmus+ & ESC (European Solidarity Corps) projects;
- Managing social media and digital tools: FB, Instagram, Google AdWords, Mailerlite;
- YouTube channel development;
During May-September we’re hosting team volunteering & youth exchanges.
You can support us by:
– Helping to prepare Synergy House for projects;
– Facilitating workshops, creating visuals;
– Participating in summer activities;
– Hands-on-work and house renovation;
– Meeting & welcoming project participants;
What about life in Sofia & Bulgaria?
The population of Sofia is 1,7 million people and it is home to 16 universities which means you’ll have a chance to meet local youth and get connected to other ESC volunteers. Sofia has got an airport which means a weekend in Athens, Istanbul or even Tel-Aviv will be an easy thing to plan.
By the way, Bulgaria is a cheap country, so being a volunteer here is comfy and nice. And for party animals – yes, there are plenty of clubs and bars to go for a drink and meet new people.
VOLUNTEER PROFILE AND SELECTION PROCESS
The project is open to young people aged 18-27 from EU countries and Ukraine interested in the project activities and supporting the mission of Synergy Bulgaria.
The main criterion for the selection is motivation to participate and interest in our activities. Previous experience in Erasmus+ projects, event management & digital marketing is a bonus.
The duration of the project is 12 months from February 2024. You should be ready to commit for the whole period.
